It is born Ease, the European Association of Storage of Energy

A group of European entities specialists in the energetic sector, that includes manufacturers, academic centres/centers and public institutions, have agreed the formal constitution of the European Association of Energetic Storage (Ease). This non-profit international entity pretends to promote the important paper that exerts the storage of energy like key to reach a sustainable energetic system, flexible and stable.
Ease Looks for to turn into a focus of influence and competition that unify the diverse groups that up to now worked in the field of the energetic storage. His main aim is to stimulate the technological development and the innovation in the sector by means of the creation of a platform for the put in common and the divulging of each new advance, as well as for the coordination of the activities developed in each country. Therefore, Ease will act like spokesman of the sector of the energetic storage in Europe.
The 13 members founders of Ease are Saft, Alstom, Dong Energy To/S, EDF S.A., EnBW AG, Enel S.p.To, E.on AG, GDF Suez S.A., Hitachi Power Europe GMBH, Kema BV, Riso DTU, RWE AG, and Siemens AG. The association is looking for new partners and trusts that a big number of institutional organisms and European industries form part of this platform in a near future.
