Jesus Loma-Ossorio, new CEO of Bayer MaterialScience in the Iberian Peninsula

Bayer MaterialScience has appointed to Jesus Loma-Ossorio new director general of the company in Spain and Portugal, charge that camaraderie with the director of the area of production and technology of polyurethanes for the Centre and South of Europe. Loma-Ossorio (Valencia, 1951) succeeds Frank Bertram, who moved to Germany to assume the leadership of a new global unit of polyurethanes in Office.
Jesus Loma-Ossorio began his professional career in the factory of Bayer in Tarragona in 1975, where he assumed various positions of increasing responsibility until 1989. He was then transferred to the corporate strategic planning department at the headquarters of Bayer in Leverkusen (Germany). On his return in 1997, he became director of the factory of Bayer in the Franca area of Barcelona, to assume, in 2002, the direction of Tarragona. Since 2007, it compatibilizaba this address with the technical coordinator of the five factories of Bayer in Spain.
