Feique And Promotion sign an agreement of collaboration that will improve the competitiveness of the chemical sector

The minister of Promotion, Ana Pastor, the president of Adif and the vice-president of Feique Antón Valero, have signed an agreement of collaboration that has by object notarise the cooperation between the Administrator of Rail Infrastructures (Adif) and the Business Federation of the Spanish Chemical Industry (Feique) for the development of the Program of improvement of the rail transport of commodities in the chemical sector.
The signature of this agreement freamers in the basic document ‘Spanish Logistical Strategy', ratified by the Logistical Unit created by the Ministry responsible for public works, that contemplates the manufacturing of sectorial plans.

So much Feique like Adif consider that have of an efficient system of rail transport of commodities would contribute of significant way to the improvement of the competitiveness of the Spanish plants of manufacture of chemical and derivative products. In the development of this aim, Adif is elaborating a Plan of Company that contemplates a specific Program for the improvement of the rail transport of commodities in Spain and that, between the measures contemplated includes the development of specific plans of performance for strategic economic sectors in Spain and, in particular, for the chemical sector, so much in relation to the transport of raw materials as of products elaborated.
The agreement subscribed contemplates the creation of a Group of multidisciplinary mixed Work Feique-Adif that consensuará the program of work that will develop the master lines of performance. This program of work will collect, like minimum, measured referents to the improvement of the management in terms of quality, reliability and efficiency with regard to the aprovechamiento and use of the existent infrastructures, as well as a proposal of the Map of connections of the rail network with the Spanish plants of manufacture of chemical products in relation with the ports of greater sectorial importance and with the borders, all this in the context of the Atlantic Runners and Mediterranean.
