Bayer Celebrates the Global Day of the Labour hygiene in all his plants

All the job centres of Bayer all over the world devote on 18 September to the Global Day of the Labour hygiene (Global Safety Day). In the case of the plant of Quart de Poblet, devoted to the manufacture and distribution of products for the Iberian Peninsula and the north and centre of Africa, the workers of all the turns will do a rest in his daily routine, and will devote the day to expand his knowledges and reinforce the values of the hygiene and health in the work.

For this, have prepared three formative sessions of some 40 minutes of length, followed of his respective practical workshops of 15 minutes to reinforce the theoretical contents. To practise the knowledges purchased, the employees of Bayer CropScience in Quart de Poblet will participate in a gymkhana with until six activities on the hygiene and labour health.

The steering of Bayer also has foreseen a series of activities on what they designate 'Almost Accidents' or Near Hits. It treats of small incidents or events that do not have consequences, but that, in other conditions, could end in an accident for the people, for the objects or to the environingingment. From the steering of Bayer has organised a contest in which it wants to reward to the one who detect these circumstances, with the aim to be able to amend them before they turn into an authentic accident. In this field inscribe from an insufficient signaling, a regleta of cables that projects, or a bad floor asphalted by which happen the carts.
