The session ‘Encourage physical in forest works', that took place on 19 September in Coca (Segovia), initiated with the exhibition of the results obtained in the project of R&D ‘Factors Conditionings of the Performance of the Personal Specialist in Extinction of Forest Fires' (CREIF), with the purpose to analyse/analyze all those parameters that affect so much to the health as to the labour performance. The project has been elaborated by the Company of Agricultural Transformation (TRAGSA), in collaboration with other entities, during the cuatrienio 2006-2009.

Por His part, the representatives of the service of prevention Asepeyo did reference to the aims of the surveillance of the health that practises on the operarios of the companies that carry out forest works. In this sense, analysed/analyzed the protocols of performance developed in base to the catalogue of valid labour illnesses in the actuality. Finally, and basing in the performances of control of the security and the health developed on the companies that work in the mountains managed by the Forest Administration of Castile and Leon, related the statistical data collected in the annual reports of analysis of siniestralidad elaborated from the Council of Promotion and Environment, with the purpose to identify the causes and reduce the number of accidents detected in the previous years in the forest works.

Of the day give off a series of conclusions. In the first place, it put of self-evident the no existence of medical studies of field that reflected statistical and data contrasted scientifically on the physiological alterations that affect to the operarios forestry. A lack that influences in the possibility to implant preventive measures with which avoid professional illnesses, fruit of the physical effort. Establishes that the development of new studies of R&D, and the update of relative statistical reports to the siniestralidad in the forestry works, will allow to enter new parameters that adapt, of specific form, the medical protocols of surveillance of the health realizar by the societies of prevention.

At all times, alludes to the surveillance of the health like a tool that pretends to integrate to the worker in his place of work, contributing him solutions or alternative that correct his physical limitations in base to his adaptation. Like this then , it refuses the idea, that the forestry works only are near at hand of sportsmen, to the style of the firemen of elite. This, without forgetting that it works in groups that alternate distinct functions and/or performances at the same time.
