Asaja Murcia valued way "upbeat and positive" Protocol signed with Mexico for the export of Spanish stone fruit

The agreement means that soon will be made early expeditions of Extremadura fruit to the market of Mexico, and depending on the results, will be extended to the rest of Spain. For the owner of Asaja Murcia, "this initiative is very interesting to the murcian stone fruit which may there be a market alternative to the traditional European Union". In addition, Gálvez explained that "it is very important to expand and improve the marketing structures of the sector of fruit and, in this sense, the market of Mexico is very interesting and we can have it as a big buyer of our fruit".
From the Ministry of the environment, Rural and marine has been suggested that the signature of this Protocol comes as a result of intense ten years of negotiations between the two countries for the establishment of phytosanitary requirements, based on the establishment of a pest management programallowing the export of stone fruit.
