Mavinsa continues its track of continuous improvement

Redacción Protección Laboral19/10/2017
Again Mavinsa® participates in A+A Düsseldorf, one of the largest international fairs in the PPE industry. “In the 2017 edition we are pleased to present a new family of our product catalog designed to meet the most technical needs of the market”, said an official from the company of Viana (Navarra - Spain).

This is the Foca® Segur 3 family, mainly characterized by an improved slip resistance (SRC), the weight of the boots (lightness 10% higher than that of the traditional Foca® Segur family), as well as a new design that guarantees its durability and performance, without losing any of the characteristics that distinguish the Mavinsa® products.

In the previous edition, Mavinsa achieved the certificate EN 13832-3:2006 (protective footwear of high resistance to chemical products in immersion) in the model Foca® White high and medium, and Foca® Segur Blanca, specially designed for the food processing industry, and the Foca® Segur Negra (Construction, Mining and Industry) model. Resistant to reactive: K, Q, O, R and sodium hypochlorite (other reagents can be consulted through info@mavinsa.es).

Foca® Segur 3, a versatile family

The continuous improvement of the products, in accordance with current European regulations, has enabled Mavinsa to develop the different models of the new family Foca® Segur 3 adapted to the different market segments, even with the possibility to customize them with different colors in function of their requirements. Also, in October 2017, Mavinsa® will have adapted all its articles to the new European Regulation 2016/425, which will take effect in April 2018.

In order to guarantee the optimal performance and service of each application, Mavinsa® recommends “to consult the performance of our products for the different ‘environments’ of use. In this way, users will always be properly advised and completely sure of the choice they’ve made. The behavior of our Mavinsa® PVC and its use in an autoclave can also be consulted. And we can state with consistency that we are sure that the results obtained will surprise the people who consult those data”.

Leading-edge industry

The technical officials of the firm from Navarra claim that “Mavinsa® PVC, being a non-porous material, prevents the retention of unwanted bodies and pollutants, such as bacteria, thereby avoiding the consequent decomposition of the material, while it extends the life of the boots and, therefore, the saving of economic resources”.

The firm also remarks its participation in the global economy. “In accordance with the new international market scenario and due to our desire to promote our portfolio, Mavinsa® already markets its products in different countries in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Central and South America. With this logistical effort we have made it possible for our customers to enjoy total accessibility to our articles anywhere in the world”.

Driven by its policy of service to the market, Mavinsa® has prepared itself to respond to projects and special needs. “We are able to execute any type of special project and personalization according to the demand of our clients, offering them a personal and direct attention, in order to fulfill their expectations in quality, time and service”, state sources of the manufacturer, that will meet up with customers, prescribers and end users in A+A (Hall 10 stand F24), where it will offer technical advice and showcase its range and latest developments.
