Development and options for the company of gardening

The gardening and the paisajismo characterise for being activities in constant evolution, in which the commercial and technological novelties are thing of all the days. Therefore, the professional meetings purchase an enormous importance in this activity, especially if they are focused from a business point of view and serve to boost the business culture between the professionals.

Is thus that the professional meetings purchase an enormous importance in this activity, especially if they are meetings focused from a business point of view, that serve to boost the business culture between the professionals of the sector. Like this it comprises it the Guild of Gardening of Catalonia, between whose activities occupy a central place the oriented to develop the business capacities of his affiliated. It promotes and it boosts the business culture between the companies of gardening.

The sector is alive, active and in evolution. There is a lot of work for doing especially in the field of the professional learning, where there is consensus about his insufficient quality. For the organisers of the 1er Congress of Gardening and Company, that took place recently in S'Agaró (Costa Brava), the main challenge to the that confronts the sector is the one of the progressive transformation of the companies of gardening in true business structures, able to develop his organisational models, taking into account all the appearances related with the business management: picture of integral control, management of human resources, strategic planning, etc.

The Guild has put in this occasion near at hand of the assistants a program in which they combine subjects on the management of the company, with presentations on new possibilities of market, as it is the future development of the swimming pools and of the covers naturadas.

The importance to organise the companies through his representations to distinct levels (autonomic, state, European) means to have voice in front of the administration, improve the professional learning and look for roads to increase the demand of the green. One of the aims of this Congress was to identify those products that adapt better to the social interests, characteristic and aims to offer new opportunities of business to the sector.

Covered  naturadas
Between the new products that outline like interesting for the sector find the covers naturadas, a subject presented by Hans Joachim Seeger, president of the German Association of Gardening in Covers (Deutsche Dachgarten Verband, of DDV, of Baden Baden). The speaker did a X-ray of his organisation and of some of the environingingmental problems more notable of the cities that can be mitigated by means of the installation of covers naturadas of way scheduled.

They exist a good number of technical solutions that allow to face up to this problem; the indispensable layers antiraiz can be composed by: bitumen, coverages of stainless steel, plastics and rubber, synthetic paintings. There is more than 70 products certified for this end.

But the layer antirraíz is not the only that constitutes a system of naturación of a terrace; it has to take into account that this system has to, with a thickness and a weight limited, reproduce the functions of a natural floor. In this sense, is the own Nature the teacher that indicates like proceeding. Above the layer antirraíz, have others, that generally follow this order: a layer of drainage, a layer of leak, the sustrato and finally the vegetal layer, constituída by the plants.

Is possible to give him to this distinct structure degrees of complexity, attaining covers extensivas, semiextensivas and intensive; these last true gardens in the flat roofs, for which does not repair in costs of installation neither of maintenance. The introduction of the irrigation, of plants much more developed and demanding agronómicamente, of a dense layer of sustrato or of vegetal earth and of recreational elements are the characteristics of the intensive terraces, that also subject to the buildings to a static load a lot of elder (until 500 kg/m2).

That's why the complex intensive covers have to be incluídas in the calculations of the buildings before construírlos; of another way engages the stability of the same. The solutions extensivas, by the contrary, can be usually included in buildings already built without problems, although a study of the statics of the building in front of the new requirements of weight of the cover has to be mandatorio.

The differences between both types of constructions are, then, in the maintenance, the irrigation, the vegetation, the thickness and the weight. You mention the solutions extensivas use plants of big rusticity and low consumption of water (xerofitas extremófilas like mosses, distinct genders of Sedum and some gramíneas; the intensive gardens can contain lawn, bushes, trees and installations of re-create and entertainment. In this last typology is necessary a maintenance and permanent irrigation what turns into this much more expensive solution and complicated.

The critical point of a perfect operation of this type of covers, indicates the president of DDV,  finds in his correct construction with retention of water, suitable drainage, gaps for the oxygenation of the vegetal layer, protection of walls, walls and antepechos and downpipes with box of control. It recommends as a conjoint  maintenance with the property of the building. East consists in: control of sumideros and flanges, replacement of plants, start plants no wished, segar, irrigate and credit.

Swimming pools naturadas
Another product of interest presented is the one of the swimming pools naturadas, to which call gardens of the bathroom.  In reality it treats of a bioestanque with plants in his interior. Between the characteristics of this product mention : clear water in quality of drinkable water, consumption of water and low power, under maintenance, attractor trucks appearance during all the year and depth of until 150 cm.

Between the assistants asked on the minimum measures and the costs of this construction, as well as his costs of maintenance.
