Climatización eficiente | Efficient Heating & Cooling El Hotel rural La Tudanca, ubicado en el municipio cántabro de Sobremazas ha acometido la renovación de su sistema de climatización partiendo de los siguientes objetivos: conseguir una alta eficiencia energética, un ahorro económico en energía y una importante reducción del ruido. Para ello, los propietarios del hotel acudieron a Vaillant. La instalación original estaba compuesta por: • Caldera de gasóleo con una potencia excesiva para el hotel. • Tres zonas de calefacción gestionadas con un termostato en cada zona. • Radiadores de hierro fundido. • Interacumulador de ACS de 1.000 litros. • Una caldera de gas mixta para la vivienda de los dueños. • Un depósito de gasoil de 1.000 litros en la sala técnica. Esta instalación presentaba una serie importante de inconvenientes, por ejemplo, de espacio tanto del ocupado por el propio depósito de gasóleo como la necesidad de disponer de espacio suficiente para el acceso y maniobra del camión que se ocupaba de rellenar el depósito. A ello se suman otros como los olores o el ruido de la caldera tanto en el arranque como durante su funcionamiento. La solución aportada por Vaillant consta de: • Dos bombas de calor compactas de 15 kW. • Un depósito de inercia de 500 litros para calefacción. Located in the Cantabrian municipality of Sobremazas, the La Tudanca country house hotel has undertaken the renovation of its heating & cooling system with the following objectives in mind: to achieve a high level of efficiency, an economic saving in terms of energy and an important reduction in noise levels. For this, the hotel owners turned to Vaillant. The original installation used to comprise: • A diesel boiler with an excessive output for the hotel. • Three heating zones managed by a thermostat in each zone. • Cast iron radiators. • A 1000-litre DHW cylinder tank. • A mixed gas boiler for the owners’ accommodation. • A 1,000-litre diesel tank inside the plant room. This installation presented several important disadvantages, such as the space occupied by the diesel tank, as well as the need to have enough space for the truck to access and manoeuvre when refilling the tank. To this were added others such as the smell and noise of the boiler, both during start-up and while running. SUSTITUCIÓN DE GASÓLEO POR AEROTERMIA EN UN HOTEL RURAL EN CANTABRIA La casona La Tudanca, un hotel con seis habitaciones y una ocupación máxima de 15 personas, disponía antes de la reforma de una caldera de gasóleo, que requería demasiado espacio tanto para el depósito como para la maniobrabilidad del camión que reponía el mismo y generaba incomodidad y un coste excesivo. Vaillant ha diseñado para este hotel rural una nueva instalación de climatización basada en aerotermia con bombas de calor aire- agua, que ha permitido conseguir una única energía para climatizar el hotel y la vivienda de los dueños, ganar espacio, reducir ruidos, eliminar el olor a gasóleo y un importante ahorro energético. REPLACING DIESELWITH AEROTHERMAL HEAT IN A COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL IN CANTABRIA Before its refurbishment, the La Tudanca country house hotel, with its six bedrooms and a maximumoccupancy of 15 guests, used to be equippedwith a diesel boiler that needed toomuch space, both for the tank and for manoeuvring the tanker truck when it made its deliveries, creating inconvenience and an excessive cost. Vaillant has designed a newheating and cooling installation for this country hotel, based on aerothermal heat with air-water heat pumps,which has resulted in one single energy source to heat and cool the hotel and the owner’s dwelling, gaining space, reducing noise, eliminating the diesel smell and obtaining an important energy saving.
