FAIRS BBB/Construmat, a fair in transition The International Construction Hall launched its new image at the 19th Barcelona Fair. Almost three hundred exhibitors and 55,000 visitors attended BBB/ Construmat. NEWS The Quick-Step and Distiplas Floors 2015 Roadshow visits new cities Just like every year Distiplas Floors and Quick Step have taken an extensive trip – a roadshow - throughout Spain to present their innovations to clients. Technical training courses for Premium products from Maia-Otto In April Maia-Otto held its first technical training courses in the new showroom at its remodelled facilities in Sant Esteve Ses Rovires (Barcelona), aimed at its clients in Catalonia. New parquet installers are accredited as Bona certified professionals A group of 19 wood floor installers and processing professionals have taken the third Bona Certified Craftsman Programme (BCCP) course. They all obtained accreditation as new Bona Certified Professionals. Bariperfil opens a warehouse in Girona The manufacturer and distributor Bariperfil, has opened a new warehouse in the town of Salt (Girona) and intends to open a showroom aimed at professional customers there. Roadshow by Pergo to present its «Revinylution» in Spain In May and June Pergo held a roadshow to present its Vinyl Planks & Tiles 2015 collection together with its distributors in Spain. This is the first to be made in the new Unilin plant in Wielsbeke (Belgium). Timberplan opens a showroom in the centre of Valladolid The company Timberplan has just opened its new showroom in Valladolid, with more than 500 square metres of exhibition space, including its new offices. It has finished its first year and a half of business with its «economic goals fulfilled». Dekinsa distributes Armstrong DLW flooring The distributor Dekinsa extends its portfolio with Scala Connect vinyl floors, suitable for residential and heavy commercial use, from the international manufacturer, Armstrong DLW and thereby opens a new distribution channel for its flooring range. ASSOCIATION NEWS José Luis Romero, re-elected chairman of APEIMA During the APEIMA (Association of Small Business Installers of Wood) Annual General Meeting, in Madrid, the associates voted for the new Board of Directors and its Chairman. Two candidates stood and José Luis González was re-elected. José Ignacio Miguel to be the new chairman of AFAM On 29th June the companies that promote the new Association of Manufacturers of Wood-Related Products (AFAM) will hold a meeting to finalise the organisation’s articles of incorporation. José Ignacio Miguel will be the association’s chairman. Javier Hervás continues as the head of the ANFP The National Association of Parquet Manufacturers (ANFP) annual general meeting, held in Madrid, unanimously re-elected Javier Hervás, manager of the company MH Parquets, as its chairman.
