También en esa zona se ubica una chimenea adornada con azulejos típicos sevillanos y la preside una gran figura de cabeza de caballo. Las 73 habitaciones, en configuración dobles, triples, junior suites y familiares que invitan al descanso y a la tranquilidad, presentan un interiorismo de inspiración andaluza, donde destacan los tradicionales azulejos sevillanos, piezas originales pintadas a mano y creadas exclusivamente para el hotel, así como celosías en las paredes y en el techo. La propuesta gastronómica llega con el restaurante Magallanes, que ofrece un completo buffet de desayunos con productos locales. Un patio andaluz preside el espacio, aportando luz natural y donde también se ubica una fuente adornada con azulejos sevillanos. The hotel, whose interior design has been inspired by a typical Sevillian house, incorporates traditional local elements with a modern reinterpretation. The hotel’s white-painted façade contrasts with traditional green wooden shutters, while the hotel entrance is decorated with hand-painted tiles. The reception area and lobby on the ground floor welcome the guest with display cabinets containing original tableware from the Cartuja monastery, as well as ornamental silver items, from which the hotel takes its name. There is also a fireplace decorated with typical Sevillian tiles dominated by a carved horse’s head. The 73 bedrooms, equipped as doubles, triples, junior suites and family rooms, invite repose and tranquillity. Their Andalusianinspired interior design features traditional local tiles, original pieces painted by hand and created exclusively for the hotel, as well as latticework on the walls and ceiling. The gastronomic offer is provided by the Magallanes restaurant, which offers a full breakfast buffet with local products. An Andalusian inner patio with its pool embellished with Sevillian tiles forms the centrepiece as well as providing natural light. In a hotel of this type, where attention is given to the minutest detail, it is no surprise that much importance and priority has been placed on energy efficiency. Choosing energy efficient equipment is a sure way of achieving economic saving and ensuring respect for the environment. In this regard, Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, through its distributor Lumelco, offers the latest technology in both temperature control and domestic hot water (DHW). For the temperature control, the hotel opted for a variable flow cooling system with heat recovery for the rooms, to have the ability to cool down some areas while others remain in heating mode, thereby offering greater comfort to suit guest requirements; along with a variable flow cooling system heat pump in the common areas. In that search for harmony and with a premium placed on the décor, interior duct units were installed that are hidden from view.
