Brazil and Mexico remain the countries with the largest installed outputs in the region, and although the PV media headlines tend to still be dominated by events in these countries, this year has been full of welcome surprises: Colombia is closing the year with major auctions and promises for greater PV expansion; Argentina, despite unfavourable economic circumstances, remains firm as regards its target to generate a higher share of its energy from renewables; and almost every country in the region, including Central America and the Caribbean, are showing signs of supporting PV power. 2019 ha sido de lo más positivo para GoodWe en la región. Sus ventas de inversores de uso residencial y comercial han seguido creciendo y también ha desarrollado nuevas alianzas comerciales, que le están permitiendo llegar a nuevos mercados y regiones. Buen ejemplo de ello es que los inversores GoodWe han llegado este año a mercados inesperados para la compañía, como Honduras. GoodWe es uno de los únicos fabricantes de este tipo de inversores y el interés que este producto está despertando en la región es considerable. En lo que respecta al segmento comercial e industrial/utility los inversores SMT y MT han conquistado grandes éxitos en Argentina y Brasil, habiendo sido instalados en pequeños negocios, nuevas zonas residenciales e incluso en plantas solares. La combinación de fortalezas de estos inversores, como su compatibilidad con módulos bifaciales, comunicación a través de PLC y monitorización a nivel de cadena, así como su amplio conjunto de protecciones (desconexión rápida o interruptor de fallo por arco) están atrayendo a un creciente número de instaladores y usuarios en la región. Para esta gama de inversores GoodWe dispone de versiones adaptadas para operar en las redes eléctricas de baja tensión de Latinoamérica.
