De acuerdo con Eurofred, compañía especializada en soluciones eficientes de climatización y refrigeración, lo que podría resultar amenazante para la sostenibilidad del planeta no significa que haya razón para preocuparse. La industria de la refrigeración llegará a su cota cero emisiones mucho antes que la del automóvil. De hecho, a partir de 2022 no se podrán fabricar ni comercializar equipos que utilicen gases refrigerantes que no sean 100% ecológicos. Por todo ello, Eurofred apuesta por presentar al mercado una línea de producto cero emisiones destinada a este segmento, con la que conseguir no solo cuidar el medio ambiente, sino consumir menos y ser más eficientes. Unas soluciones que van muy por delante de la directiva europea FGAS, que establece la prohibición del uso de gases no ecológicos, como el R404, en nuevos equipos a partir de 2020 y extiende el uso de los denominados “gases de transición” como R458 y R449 hasta 2022. En los últimos 10 años la industria de la refrigeración ha realizado inversiones millonarias en el desarrollo de nuevos sistemas y equipos preparados para trabajar con gases refrigerantes CO2, R290 y R600, 100% ecológicos y con cero emisiones. El primero utiliza CO2 y los otros dos gases propano, todos presentes en la atmósfera. Se han rediseñado los sistemas, los componentes, etc. y, a la vez, se ha mejorado su eficiencia, reduciendo su consumo a límites insospechables: actualmente hay congeladores industriales que consumen 93W, un poco más que una bombilla LED. Nueva vida para la tienda de barrio La nueva ciudad recupera el barrio, sus tiendas de proximidad y el producto fresco, que se compra en comercios atendidos por personal especializado, que aconseja y asesora a los clientes, aportándoles valor. El propio Amazon, el gran marketplace online, ha comprado una gran cadena de tiendas para no quedarse fuera del nuevo modelo y ofrecer productos de valor en una venta atendida. También cambia el diseño de estos establecimientos, su iluminación, la presentación de los productos y su conservación. Encontramos expositores, islas, muebles refrigerantes murales con pantallas LED en su frontal que ofrecen vídeos sobre los productos que contienen, vitrinas cuyas puertas se abren al ir a coger el producto y que se cierran automáticamente al sacarlo, para mantener la temperatura y reducir el consumo, además de sistemas de recuperación de calor que aprovechan el calor que genera el mobiliario de supermercado y lo utilizan para dar calefacción gratuita al comercio.
