Nos hemos reinventado, pero sin perder nuestra esencia y seña de identidad, a la que hemos dado color. n wealth and employment (1,000 jobs, both direct and indirect); and to the education, training and environmental awareness of citizens through a succession of campaigns. These campaigns have focused on encouraging the involvement of Galicians in reducing waste production, in maximising the use of products through reuse and in correctly separating waste and subsequently depositing it in the corresponding bins to facilitate recycling, thus saving energy, raw materials and money. We still have a lot of work to do. Having regenerated the past, and having defined and designed the roadmap for the future, we are embarking on a new stage with great vigour and enthusiasm, a stage in which our maxim will continue to be more recycling, with a view to helping the country meet the demanding European targets for the coming years, and achieving technical zero waste. In addition to our commitment to incorporating the latest and best available technologies at all times, we are working against the clock to help Galician municipalities to comply with legislation on the recovery of organic matter. Hence, our priority is to build, commission and manage a network of infrastructures made up of four biowaste plants (one per province), supported by 13 transfer plants, each equipped with a specific hopper for the transfer of organic waste. A total of 17 plants will be under the responsibility of Sogama to make it possible for most of the municipalities in its system to have one of these facilities within a radius of 50 km. Our rebranding represents precisely what this public company will be or intends to be in the coming years: close to the citizens and committed to the quality of life of current and future generations, as well as to the Galician environment in all its facets: land, sea and air. We have reinvented ourselves, but without losing our essence and identity, which we have created with passion. n Javier Domínguez Lino Presidente ejecutivo de Sogama Executive President at Sogama
