El próximo 9 de junio, Idrica abre las puertas del Gemelo Digital de GoAigua, implantado en la empresa gestora Global Omnium. Gracias a su colaboración con la Water Action Platform, será posible conectarse en directo con una demostración del funcionamiento de esta tecnología, referente en la industria. El Gemelo Digital en Valencia permite a la utility monitorizar las redes, anticiparse a problemas e implementar los modos de operación más eficientes. La herramienta es una réplica virtual de la red, que reproduce el comportamiento real del sistema y simula su respuesta bajo cualquier condición, permitiendo analizar diferentes escenarios de operación. En la actualidad, esta solución se utiliza en la operación diaria de la red del área metropolitana de Valencia, encargada de suministrar agua amás de 1.700.000 habitantes. El gemelo digital contienemás de 900km de tuberías, está conectado con 600 variables hidráulicas y proporciona información de la presión y el flujo en los 10.000 nudos. La herramienta ofrece una visión holística y en tiempo real de la red, así como cuadros de mando informativos y accionables 24/7. En tiempos de crisis, el gemelo digital está siendo vital para Global Omnium. La simulación de escenarios pasados, presentes y futuros; la previsión del comportamiento de la red en las próximas 24 horas, o el desarrollo de planes de contingencia son solo algunos ejemplos de cómo esta tecnología está garantizando un servicio de agua de calidad. Gracias a todo el proceso de digitalización llevado a cabo en la compañía, se ha logrado reducir el volumen de agua no registrada en más de un 30%, y el OPEX de mantenimiento en un 20%. Además, se ha disminuido en un 15% el consumo de energía en el tratamiento de agua, y se están ahorrando más de 4Hm3 de agua cada año. The implementation of the Digital Twin in Valencia enables the utility to monitor networks, anticipate problems and select the most efficient operating modes. The tool is a virtual replica of the network. It reproduces the real behaviour of the system and simulates its response in all types of conditions, thereby enabling different operating scenarios to be analysed. This solution is currently used in the daily operation of the Valencia metropolitan area network, which supplies water to over 1,700,000 people. The Digital Twin features more than 900 km of pipes, is connected to 600 hydraulic variables and provides pressure and flow information at the 10,000 nodes.
