Esta situación es una realidad desde hace más de un lustro. El día a día de las empresas, ha cambiado de forma radical de un tiempo breve a esta parte. La internacionalización, las redes sociales -y, por tanto, las nuevas formas de relacionarse- los avances tecnológicos, la especialización cada vez más afinada y un largo etcétera, hacen que la nueva forma de trabajar, diste mucho de la existente hasta hace no tantos años. Quienes rondamos los 30, año arriba año abajo, estamos al límite en cuanto a situación académica y laboral. Podemos ser la última generación de los planes antiguos (diplomaturas y licenciaturas) o la primera de los nuevos planes (grados y máster). Como todo gran cambio estructural, se necesita tiempo para asimilarlo. Gracias al Plan Bolonia, nos hemos encontrado con un “estallido”de nuevas especializaciones. Es por ello por lo que, el mercado, debe hacer un esfuerzo extra para entender este nuevo escenario, evitar que la población estudiantil caiga en la indefinición y que las empresas sepan encontrar los perfiles que necesiten. Por ello es muy importante para la gestión de ese talento, el trabajo y colaboración entre universidad y empresa. Todo es tan cambiante que, una persona que ahora mismo esté pensando en comenzar una carrera el próximo curso, es probable que, al terminar la misma (entre 4 o 7 años) esos estudios ya no estén actualizados y necesiten una revisión. Por supuesto, esto es aplicable a todos los niveles educativos. Por ejemplo, la Formación Profesional clásica, irá siendo sustituida paulatinamente por la FP Dual. La diferencia básica de este sistema con el antiguo, es que se incluye un periodo lectivo de prácticas empresariales, donde el alumnado puede comenzar a trabajar en un entorno muy similar al que se encontrará, una vez finalizado el periodo de su formación. This situation has been a reality for more than five years. Day-to-day business has changed radically in a short period of time. Internationalisation, social networks - and, therefore, new ways of relating to one another - technological advances, increasingly refined specialisation and so on and so forth, mean that the new way of working is a far cry from what it was not so many years ago. Those of us around the age of 30, give or take a year, are on the borderline in terms of our academic and employment situation. We fall between the last generation of the old academic plans (diplomas and bachelor’s degrees) and the first of the new plans (bachelor’s and master’s degrees). Like any major structural change, it takes time to assimilate. Thanks to the Bologna Process, we have found ourselves with an “explosion” of new specialisations. The market must make an extra effort to understand this new scenario, to prevent the student population from falling into a lack of definition and to ensure that companies know how to find the profiles they need. Collaboration between universities and companies is very important for the management of this talent. Everything is changing so quickly that somebody thinking of starting a degree next year is likely to find that by the end of the course (between 4 and 7 years), those studies are no longer current and will need to be updated. Of course, this applies to all levels of education. For example, traditional vocational training will gradually be replaced by dual vocational training.
