Coagulador – floculador laberíntico Para llevar a cabo la adición de reactivos del pretratamiento físico – químico, se ha instalado un coagulador–floculador laberíntico, que permite ahorrar espacio, debido a la poca superficie ocupada, y energía eléctrica, debido a la ausencia de agitadores mecánicos. Este coagulador – floculador está incorporado en el equipo de flotación DAF. Este equipo rompe el flujo laminar que se forma en el interior de la tubería, transformándolo en un flujo turbulento que favorece la mezcla de los reactivos dosificados. La instalación estará dotada de los cubicontainers de reactivos, conducciones y bombas dosificadoras necesarias para realizar el proceso físico-químico que resulte más apropiado. La Instalación está dotada de un dosificador de polielectrolito aniónico, encargado de agrupar los coágulos formados en flóculos de mayor tamaño, favoreciendo su separación y aumentando la clarificación del agua. Este reactivo se prepara en un sistema semiautomático de dilución y maduración, partiendo de poli-electrolito comercial concentrado. The facility is equipped with an anionic polyelectrolyte dosing unit to group the coagulants into floccules of a larger size, which facilitates separation and enhances clarification of the water. This reagent is prepared by means of a semi-automatic dilution and maturation system and is based on concentrated commercially available polyelectrolyte. All chemical reagents are stored in tanks installed in a concrete safety pit. Sludge floatation treatment: DAF unit On leaving the coagulator-flocculator, the waste water enters a DAF unit, which separates the sludge from the clarified water. A pressurised air pump is located at the front of the floatation unit to recirculate the inlet water with part of the clarified water. The pump injects dissolved air, which favours the mixing of air and water in the contact chamber. The fine bubbles that form adhere to the floccules and carry them to the surface. A sludge scraper, made up of several blades mounted on chains along the upper section of the floatation unit, scrapes the sludge from the back of the unit to the front and collects it on the surface for discharge into the storage tank.
