Dinapsis came up with a plan of action to develop a large green infrastructure that encircles the urban boundaries of Benidorm, linking and integrating sports spaces, dilapidated urban areas and green areas in the city. All this was done bearing in mind future urban development, in order to create a large green space with Mediterranean species, which is irrigated using reclaimed water and associated with the concept of a healthy lifestyle. Digitisation has also played a key role in the success of the model proposed by Dinapsis. The intensive digital transformation model adopted in these last two years has enabled the centralisation of operations and the very effective application of new technologies. In this way, programmed routes and the management of working orders have become far more rapid and significantly less costly. This new, efficient way of carrying out these day-to-day tasks has enabled a reduction of over 30,000 kilometres in distances travelled in municipalities where they have been applied. Dinapsis also represents a great step forward for the daily management of the integrated urban water cycle. Innovative solutions have enabled improved response times in the event of incidents, as well as in day-to-day urban water cycle operations. There have been improvements in leak and quality control, and in the prevention of service interruptions that might affect users. The importance of awareness The environmental work carried out by Dinapsis, particularly in the last year, has not been limited to the development and implementation of new technologies. Awareness is of vital importance to ensure that all of us contribute sufficiently in the fight against climate change and the degradation of our environment. For this reason, Dinapsis has promoted over 250 seminars on urban sustainability and the implementation of efficient models in the day-to-day management of cities. Moreover, Dinapsis has assumed the position of mentor entity, alongside the Valencia Association of Energy Sector Enterprises (Asociación Valenciana de Empresas del Sector de la Energía - AVESEN), in Climate Launch Pad, a competition that rewards entrepreneurs who promote the use of green energy and the fight against climate change in the course of their business activities. Within a very short period, Dinapsis has become an undisputed benchmark in efficient, sustainable urban management, proving its capacity to offer solutions and coordinate all day-to-day tasks and operations efficiently and economically, thereby benefiting both the taxpayer and the environment. Having become more and more indispensable in the development and maintenance of the city, the only remaining question is what new solutions Dinapsis will come up with in the future to make the urban world healthier, more sustainable and more efficient.
