Anfagua Presents a report on the current market of the counter of water in Spain

The managerial team of the Conagua, National Commission of the Water of Mexico, that visited Spain with the aim to exchange experiences in efficient gestión of the services of water and saneamiento, was present in this evento, since our country is a concerning world-wide level in strategies of efficient gestión of the services and efforts of decrease of vulnerability of the same in front of the climatic extremes, problematic that shares with Mexico.
Anfagua Estimates that in Spain there is installed 16 million counters of water, what supposes, roughly, a counter of water by each three Spaniards, with an annual renewal estimated of 8% of the equipment.
Considering a period of effective life of a counter of water of 10 years and that in our country estimates that 40% of the installed counters has less than 5 years, but, however, 30% of our counters surpasses said 10 years of antiquity, seems that it would be recommended his update by models more sophisticated and precise, that facilitate the transmission of data and diminish the quantity of water no registered.
The technology irradiate-mobile is, inside the systems of remote reading, the system used mostly for the compilation of the data registered by the counters, what requires the approach of the operarios to the counters to be able to obtain his reading but that avoids the have to be right in front of the counter to read it visualmente.
The future tendency is to transform these mobile systems initials in fixed systems of reading, that remit the information to the central computer system of the operator of instantaneous way, without the need to displace personal to the vicinities to be able to recopilar the data of consumption and that offers, besides, new possibilities of management (cycles of box and turnover, warning on likely incidences in the customers of escapes, sobreconsumos, manipulations, instantaneous performances of networks and supplies, etc.) that allows to improve the efficiency of the system.
In our country has evolved of the class metrológica B, that represent 40% of the installed counters, to the class C, much more precise and that supposes roughly 60% of counters into use.
Although the technology of continuous majority measurement being the one of chorro only, being of this type the roughly 90% of the installed counters in Spain; other technologies go entering of progressive way, like the volumetric, that is the most extended in other countries of our surroundings like France, where the 95 % of the installed counters are already of volumetric type.
The installed counters in the Spanish homes are each more precise day and of greater performance metrológico, keeps mostly the technology of chorro only although with a tendency to other technologies, like the volumetric.
