The school of engineers of Galicia rewards the new WWTP of Lugo

This plants debugger, that supposed an investment of 44,5 million euros and forms part of the integral renewal of the system of saneamiento of the city of Lugo, has capacity to treat the residual waters of an urban population of until 200.000 inhabitants.
The jury formed by a veintena of engineers, stood out the building of control of the new station debugger of residual waters (EDAR), that supposes “an architectural referent inside this type of installations”. To this respecto, from the Hydrographic Confederation of the Miño – Sil explained that “it conceived like an oriel from which control the good operation of the plant”.
This is the second time that act of the Hydrographic Confederation of the Miño – Sil receive the recognition of the School of Engineers, Ways, Channels and Ports of Galicia. In 2009, the “Works of the General Manifolds of the river Miño in Lugo. Improvement of the Saneamiento of Lugo”, received the Saint prize Telmo by his “technical quality, territorial and constructive, as well as for contributing improvements to the quality of life of the Galicians, so much from the environmental point of view, as of the economic”.
