The stand of
Peter Taboada in the international water exhibition, Smagua 2008, held from 11 to 14 March in Zaragoza, was the venue chosen by the company based in Vigo for show attendees to the show your system Petfrost. It's a team of germicide water for food usage developed after four years of research.
The research has been conducted through a project of r & d and other r & d and is endorsed by the technology centre of marine products from the Institute of marine research of the CSIC and Cetmar (Centro Tecnológico del Mar) and the Centre analytical Míguez and Muiños. Completed research and getting the expected results, the firm has gone to the manufacture of the system for industrial use. Thus was born Petfrost, a team that eliminates the bacterial load, arriving to reduce up to 90 percent.
The Petfrost model has various applications. Peter Taboada has devised it for washing fish with sea water germicide and manufacturing of germicidal ice; for washing with germicidal water of any perishable products (fish, meat of cattle, pigs, poultry, fruit and vegetables), and for the sterilization of production chains, pipes of sauces, milk and others, as well as sterilization of soil and areas of possible biological contamination.
Carried out investigations, trials, testing and Assembly carried out in all kinds of industries have achieved results which guarantee a bacteriological quality of the product record. The team does not use any chemical product. It does not alter the physical quality of the perishable product, both in color and taste or smell.
Use of the machine
The process consists in the Elimination of Gram-positive bacteria + and Gram-, sucrófilos, thermophiles and other such problems such as listeria monocytogenes and salmonella. The use in fish applies on board fishing vessels of fresco, freezer vessels, wholesalers and auctioneers in plants of glaze, in processing plants and smoked products. For meat, Petfrost is useful in the treatment of channels of cattle pig, birds, rabbits, et. In the areas of cutting and driving machinery and sterilization in the sterilization of the eggs before packaging. In the sector of fruits and vegetables, this team of Peter Taboada is ideally suited for the washing and sterilization in general and in the sterilization of vegetables chopped before packaging in modified atmosphere. For canned vegetables used in the wash germicidal before and after the scalded on the Elimination of the thermophiles; canned in general, Petfrost is used in the wash germicidal before sterilization in autoclave. The machine also has its application in dairies, in sterilization of packaging and milking plant.
Petfrost does not use any chemical or alters the physical quality of the perishable product.
The use of Petfrost also is carried out in hospitals and centres of hospital logistics of large claims, earthquakes and wars by washing of injured and wounded in wars, accidents, earthquakes and great cataclysms, prior to the surgical interventions, as well as in the sterilization of operating rooms and clinics of campaign and the rings of dialysis.
Eliminate salmonella, listeria and other pathogensPeter Taboada company continues to innovate with its germicidal sterile water system. In recent months this Galician company has conducted tests for the Elimination of listeria, salmonella and other pathogens, in collaboration with companies in the meat sector, especially with the companies dedicated to the chicken. The results have been "very satisfactory", with reductions of 100 percent in some kind of product.
In addition, the same trials have been conducted in collaboration with the CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas), under the Ministry of science and technology. The company has marketed this computer in Norway, in the most important salmon-producing industries in the country.
