The general aim of the project Nuesval is to develop new alloys of brass for valves of driving of fluids in environingingmental conditions of high temperature, like answer to the need of the company to develop specific types of valves, allocated so much to domestic installations like industrial.
The new alloys will allow the construction of resistant valves to high temperatures keeping the current cost of the valves of the domestic field and reducing considerably the cost of the industrial valves, where the materials are more expensive.
Besides, the new alloys could employ in other sectors like the construction, where the new technical requests also are more demanding.
The Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic of Manresa, develops technically the project, commissioning also to realise and organise the planned tasks by part of the participants in the project. The project has a budget of 450.000 euros, is foreseen to finalise in April of 2015 and is funded by the Centre for Industrial Technology Development (CDTI), pertaining to the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
