ANAIP and APME renew its contest to design a "sustainable school for the future"
The winning school will receive 400,000 pesetas and the ability to represent Spain in the European final, in her will participate students from 9 European countries. The contest is complemented by the educational platform folder already circulated to 20,000 centres educatiovs across Europe last year and it is estimated that it has reached a million students.
José María Cavanillas, CEO of ANAIP, believes that "the plastics industry is based on research and science, and we recognize our obligation to try to modern science attractive to young people". And adds: "the research we carry out between teachers from across Europe showed that students are much interested in environmental issues." "Our new contest wants to stimulate discussion in the classroom about how to improve equipment, transport and school buildings to reduce the impact on the environment."
The work must be based on reports written, supported with illustrations, representing how to get the students to the school and the local community take their proposals. The contest is complemented by educational folder with six pieces of activity which have been adapted by educators experts and the National Association of each country to ensure it registration within the curriculum of the students.
