He was born in the Basque country the first transformation of Intelligent Energy Center
February 27, 2009
A center of transformation is a type of electrical energy in medium voltage and delivery at low voltage for its final use. There are more than 300,000 centers in grid Spanish and, mostly, they do not have any Automation.
The new center of transformation intelligent will be able to detect and anticipate failures and breakdowns in the power supply, monitoring and automating your solution and providing data that until now were unknown. The participants in the project emphasize that ICSID will make it possible to contribute to the improvement of the quality of supply to end users, will facilitate the exploitation of the distribution network, will reduce the costs of maintenance of the centers of transformation and will contribute to the reduction of energy consumption.
With a budget of EUR 4.47 million
With an execution period envisaged for the biennium 2008 October - December 2010 and a budget for the implementation of 4.47 million euros, the r & d project is part of the SPRI Etorgai programme and the Department of industryTrade and tourism of the Basque Government. 21St Ciad project is led by ZIV P+C and Incoesa consultants companies. Participate, in addition, the companies: Usyscom, ZIV measure, Incoesa, Trafodis, Guascor, engineering and Asiris, as well as the technological centres Gaiker, Labein, and ZIV r & d. Trabajarán in the same 40 researchers that will invest more than 70,000 hours of work.
The members of the Consortium stressed: "so far had been much automation of distribution but had not invested in it." With this project we intend to move to the low voltage network automation which already exists in the high-voltage substations. We do at a time, in addition, in which each time will there be more generators of energy in buildings and homes, so the centers will grow and increasingly Iran complicating. "We must not forget that, previously, users were only consumers, but now have become also generators of energy".
Among other benefits, the new Centre will contribute to the improvement of the quality of the supply of end users; It will facilitate the operation of the distribution network; It will reduce the costs of maintenance of the new centres, and will contribute to the reduction of energy consumption.
