Pilot plant in the debugger of Castellón for maximizar the obtaining of power from slimes
To achieve the aim proposed by the consortium
The Technological Centre Ainia has been the manager of the first phase of the project of experimentation to scale of laboratory and of the advice in the design of the pilot plant to scale pre-industrial, in addition to the advice and follow-up of the realisation of the essays in this pilot plant. Facsa Has been the manager of the manufacture of the pilot plant to scale pre-industrial and of the follow-up and execution of the essays that will realise in the same.
The pilot plant states mainly of a system of ozonización, which works with fango biological thickened by flotation, so that the current ozonizada mixes with a proportion of fango primary to generate a fango mixed susceptible to be treated by the unit of digestion anaerobia, which states mainly of two digesters that work to different temperatures, mesophilous (35°C) and thermophilous (55-70°C).
In the actuality, the pilot plant to scale pre-industrial is totally built and in brief will begin the pilotage of the same, so that they will be able to validate the results that go obtaining to scale laboratory.
Sludge4power
Sludge4power will contribute the development of an integral process of treatment of slimes of purification in situ by means of three stages with the aim to increase the production of biogás, and with this the production of power, as well as reduce the quantity of final slime generated with regard to the current systems.
As it aims Carlos Ferrer, Director of R&D of Facsa “this technological innovation will help to improve the sustainability of the process of purification, allowing the generation of power from renewable sources and avoiding with this the consumption of fuels fossils and the broadcasts of CO2 associated his employment. The slimes, obtained after the application of this new process, will improve notably his hygienic characteristics optimising with this the valorisation agronómica of the same”.
