The new corporate headquarters and the production of the famous shake Cacaolat plant will require an investment of more than 40 million euros. The family Ruiz Mateos and the Clapé group have trusted the international consultant in real estate services Savills for the acquisition of an industrial building with a total area of 20,000 square meters. Group Clapé, company featured in the development of industrial parks, will be responsible for the design and construction of the plant, which will be one of the most modern in the South of Europe. With this action, the Group strengthened its policy of investment already made evident for several years.

The new facilities will be located at A7 Llinars Park in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona), where new Rumasa will generate more than 100 jobs following the philosophy of the group. This building will house three production lines for the preparation of milkshakes, sterile, horchatas and pasteurized milk and juices. The formats that will be realized will be both glass and plastic. The new plant will absorb the production of the flags Cacaolat, Latvian, the East Coast, Sali and some references of cles.

The date of commencement of the works is scheduled for the month of September and will have a period of 12 months development, date in which is expected to begin work. The plant will be dimensioned for an annual output of 50 million bottles in glass, between 40 and 45 million bottle in plastic and the ability of ultrapasteurización to 14 million litres of milk.
