PUMA advocates Rhenus Logistics for your logistics in Spain

The signature has been also chosen by the international sports brand Puma to carry out the logistical tasks in Spain, Portugal and Andorra from its facilities in the area of logistics activities (ZAL II), in the Barcelona town of El Prat de Llobregat.

The Barcelona platform of Rhenus Logistics for Puma has 10 piers for loading and unloading, and has a modern safety equipment, in an enclosure closed as ZAL. Thirties of people who are already working on this platform are the complete logistics for Puma, from the control of arrivals and customs clearance of goods passing through the storage, preparation of orders and tasks of added value as price labelling by article or the packaging of footwearclothing and sporting accessories.
One of the novelties of this collaboration has been the full integration of the internal management system of Puma with the management of the warehouse (WMS) developed by Rhenus Logistics. For several weeks prior to the beginning of the expert activity of the two companies have worked to parametrize the WMS of the logistics operator, a powerful program used by Rhenus throughout Europe, with the SAP system used by Puma, carrying out necessary iDoc interfaces.
