The Foundation CNAE, whose main master is the National Confederation of Autoescuelas, pursues between his aims improve the prevention of the accidents of traffic and open new horizons of activity for the sector.

The president of CNAE, José Miguel Báez, explains the reasons of the set up of this Foundation, coinciding with the II Week of the hygiene and Health in the Work: “The future, as it has said recently the General Director of Traffic, María Followed, is the prevention of the accidents. The autoescuelas can not us limit to teach to drive; we have to participate more actively in the politics of hygiene vial; we want to transmit to the group of the citizens, beginning by the people that use daily his vehicle to go to the work and go back or exert his work, the importance of a safe and sustainable mobility”.

It chairs the Commission of the Foundation CNAE Julio Call, vice-president of the Provincial Association of Seville; Alfredo Campa is the director. The Foundation CNAE works in four projects of prevention of risks viales oriented to the following communities: boys, greater, people with disability and workers that use his vehicle to go to his labour place and go back or to exert his task.

In this context, the Foundation CNAE initiates his activity with the launching of a Course of Specialisation in Risks Viales. The course, elaborated by the Institute of Traffic and hygiene Vial (Intras), has the backrest of the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of the Power (IDAE) and of the DGT, and directs exclusively to professors and directors of autoescuelas. It will begin the next 4 June and will have a length 250 hours lectivas distributed along five months.
