Puig, 100 years of international expansion

Founded in Barcelona in 1914 and directed in the actuality by the third familiar generation,
Main actor in the industry of the perfume has created mythical scents, from Water Lavender (1940) to 1 Million (2008), and more recently Prada Candy or Invictus.
The entrance of Puig in the world of the fashion came hand-held of Paco Rabanne in 1987. Afterwards they would arrive Carolina Herrera (1995), Nina Ricci (1998) and the remarkable participation in Jean Paul Gaultier (2011).
“Have developed a model of hybrid business, only in the industry, that consists in the convivencia inside the company of own marks and licences, fashionable and scents. We are able to integrate the fashion like an inspiration for the marks, and the scents like a form to build a feeling and share the inspiration with a greater public”, explains the Chairman and CEO, Marc Puig.
If in 2013, Puig conquered the Fields Elíseos with his new headquarters in Paris, 2014 will be marked by the inauguration of Tower Puig, the new corporate headquarters in Barcelona. Designed by Rafael Moneo, recognised with the prize Pritzker of architecture, Tower Puig, with 100 metres of height, has obtained the prestigious certification Read Gold, that shows his high index of sustainability.
