AENOR Has issued more than 3.100 certificates of Labour hygiene

AENOR Contributes to boost the prevention of labour risks through two tools: the certification, voluntary, of the System of Management of the hygiene and Health in the Work (SST), according to the international standard OHSAS 18001 and the statutory auditss of Prevention of Labour Risks (PRL). Of the 3.129 certificates issued in this field, 1.766 correspond to the certification according to OHSAS 18001 and 1.343 to auditsss of PRL. On these last, in the analysis that the Inspection of Work and Social hygiene did on the form in that AENOR develops the auditsss of PRL, established, amongst other favourable appearances, that the requirements established by AENOR for the selection of the auditsors are more demanding that the established in the own normative.
OHSAS 18001 is an international standard, volunteer, that is experiencing an important success all over the world like an effective tool in the prevention of labour risks. His advantages can resumir in three: it contributes to diminish the siniestralidad labour and increase the productivity, allows to fulfil with the legislation in matter of prevention and boosts a preventive culture by means of the integration of the prevention in the general system of the company.
Since AENOR conceded his first certificate OHSAS in the year 2004, the evolution is being very positive; like this, it has turned into the third certification of systems that surpasses the 1.000 certificates —beside ISO 9001 of Management of the Quality and ISO 14001 of Environingingmental Management— being, of the three, the one who with greater rapidity has achieved it. The Certification of SST recognises to those organisations that want to improve of continuous form through the implantation of a System of Management of the hygiene and Health in the Work.
