Fire protection companies are not required to register according to the new ministerial order

On Friday 18 February was published in the official bulletin of the State order INT/316/2011, of 1 February, on functioning of the alarm systems in the field of private security. This order develops regulation for private security (Royal Decree 2364 / 1994) and establishes the criteria which must be adapted security systems that connect to a central of alarms.
In the third additional provision: No requirement of registration is said:
"Companies only involved in the placement of mobile systems of alarm or to the installation and maintenance of systems of fire prevention, connected with plants of alarms or control centres, not need to be registered in the Register General Interior Ministry security companies"", existing in the organic Central Unit of private security of the national body of police or, where appropriate, in the corresponding of the autonomous communities with competence in the field of private security".
The publication of this order makes it clear that installers enterprises and mantenedoras of fire protection systems will not have to be registered in the register of the Ministry of Interior.
The technical General Secretariat of the Ministry of Interior had already responded by accepting the legal basis proposed by tecnifuego-aespi, that this order confirms.
