The new robot Motoman VA1400, first 7 axes arc welding robot, was the winner of the 'Nicola Tesla's technology innovation' award which meets under the umbrella of Emaf. Thanks to its seventh axis, this robot presents a flexibility that allows access to remote areas of the part to be welded, making even unnecessary in some cases the installation of a coil turning or positioner.
It was also an installation of complete robot welding with two workstations, as well as a general purpose robots. The new models of 7 and 15 axis, SIA50 and SDA20 respectively, attracted the attention of the visitors by its great flexibility and functionality similar to the of the human arm, with the ability to manipulate all sorts of objects. After the merger took place from Yaskawa Electric Europe GmbH and Motoman robotec GmbH, numerous visitors of the stand were also interested in the popular line of variable frequency, servos and teams of 'motion control' of Yaskawa.
