Ikerlan-IK4 signed a collaboration agreement with a leading Belgian Center in nanoelectronics

ikerlan-k4 has signed a collaboration agreement with the Belgian Imec, one of the world leaders of Nanoelectronics Research Center which will strengthen its strategic position as a promoter of economic development and innovation in the business. The joint work between the two entities will focus on collaboration on issues relating to research in the fields of intelligent electronic systems, organic electronics and communications technologies. IMEC is the largest independent research European Centre in nanotechnology and nanoelectronics, where 1,600 people work. The main sectors where he developed his research activity are located in markets of large projection, such as health, energy and the safe transport. For its part, Ikerlan-IK4 has developed important research in these areas, in some cases contact the Belgian Centre, which has given rise to this Alliance.

The Convention provides the basis of close cooperation that will allow progress in technologies of broad impact in everyday life, such as the field of health and energy.
