The system consists of two units: the sensory unit, which provides data from images of the space monitored through three superdinámicas cameras, and the evaluation unit, which receives data from the images from the cameras through fiber optic cables and computes a three-dimensional image from a certain highly complex algorithms. Thus, it is possible to detect objects in space and determine its exact position. The information is superimposed on protection spaces configured on the system to check, e.g.. If the space is violated.
The evaluation unit is also composed of PSS, serving interface with the machine through its inputs and outputs and control that controls the full functioning of SafetyEYE.
The connection to the periphery can be done also through the system of safe bus SafetyBUS p and, later, through Ethernet SafetyNET p.
For its part, the PC's configuration and a special software package allows to configure protection and warning areas and all the parameters necessary for the functioning of the safe camera system. Three-dimensional warning and protection spaces overlap in the form of cubes and parallelepipeds semi-transparent color to images from the cameras.
When several spatial distributions, are required for different modes of operation of a machine, the distributions can switched dynamically during the work cycle of the machine through the system of safe bus SafetyBUS p or the digital inputs of the PSS control.

The monitoring of protection spaces already not aims, therefore, on technical needs but on the requirements of the sequences of processes of the operators, which can be configured with total flexibility.
