Schmersal Builds plant of production in Indian

The Group Schmersal advances in his project of construction in the Indian. In Ranjangaon near of Pune, the plant of production of 4.000 square metres for the production and storage builds on a plot of 20.000 square metres. The start of the production is foreseen for the spring of the 2013. In April of 2012, during the placing of the first stone, Philip Schmersal, general director of the Group Schmersal, stood out the importance of the Indian market in the society: “Our expectations regarding the potential of the Indian market for the next years are very high: the Indian has a sustainable economic growth and has a lot of qualified professionals...At the same time, the pressesure of the costs is high. Because of the local production, can produce to costs reduced, taking into account that the products are exentos of taxles of import. The big demand of our products justifies the construction of our own plant for the market of the Indian”.

From 2007, Schmersal has his own subsidiary in India, having a pioneering position in the demanding market of hygiene of machines. It has roughly 30 workers and supplies to the “global actuators” of the construction of machinery and to the plants of German production situated in the Indian, as well as to the main Indian consortiums.
