Zaragoza established as platform for the sector of industrial automation
June 8, 2009
2 Zaragoza fair Pavilion hosted during three days, from 2 to 4 June, a total of 52 exhibiting firms which exhibited their products in the 5,000 square meters of surface. Here took place the Conference and technical discussions in which the incessant activity of research and development of the industrial automation sector was highlighted. Thus, during meetings and conferences they highlighted some of the issues that arouse more interest in the sector, such as Robotics in agro-food industry processes. This is, in the words of the participants, a market that demands solutions, and for which, moreover, and as they explained some of the speakers, there is availability of financial means to pay these projects.
The technical conferences as an example of a prepared industry
All the seminars and conferences organized within the framework of Matic and Moldexpo served to underline the importance of automating companies, by the cost savings and energy efficiency that are reached by means of this technology. In this regard, the President of the Spanish Association of robotics, Juan Luis Elorriaga, spoke about the major figures and excellent perspectives that accompany this market: "If in 2007 the Park of robots in our country was on 27.701 machines"We believe that the current figure should hang 30,000 robots at full capacity. "It is a type of specialized machinery very present in work of welding and, in particular for the automotive sector and components". Thus, despite the current economic climate, Elorriaga was hopeful in the growth of Robotics in other markets, as for example, in aeronautics, naval, renewable energy, pharmaceutical, and especially, the agri-food. Finally, it highlighted Robotics services as one of the pillars of the future, given that "this technology is linked to the security, household appliances or leisure".
Among the messages that are launched from this professional forum it should be noted that the expert opinion is positive, since they believe that, at the moment in Spain "we have robot technology available and necessary" and the r & d is a clear and with great future bet. Finally, the need to automate business and the growing demand of the European Union for the traceability of the products are desatacó among other topics. One of the challenges of the sectors represented in Matic and Moldexpo 2009 is the interrelationship of man and machine, so that once automated processes is necessary to establish a language and an interface with which to communicate with machinery and know your variables. This mechanism is designed to achieve greater comfort and ability to transmission of information to the operator.
Two rooms with a high capacity for innovation and dynamic
The two fairs are designed so that the sectors are interlinked but at the same time, differentiated. The purpose of the joint celebration of these rooms was uniting the synergies of the different areas involved in the automation and moulds to agglutinate the increased supply business - both public and private - which currently exists in Spain and southern Europe.
Thus, in the more than 5,000 square meters of exhibition are exhibited innovations and new techniques on the molds, automation, welding, pneumatic, injection, machinery or industrial software, among others. It's a dynamic in which participated more than 50 exhibiting companies and sample that demonstrated that it has capacity to remain the Centre of these sectors at the national level, without losing sight of the international market.
