FANUC launches a new arm long, hollow welding robot
April 3, 2008
After the release of the Arc Mate 100iC, fanuc robotics, a company dedicated to the industrial robotics, extensive series of new Arc Mate 100iC welding robots / 6 L of 1,632 millimeters in extent and 6 kg load capacity.
Series of 6-axis ARC Mate100iC, compact design of robots, has an arm with cantilever allowing the power of cable unit be placed aligned with the arm. Compared with traditional energy packages, which are externally mounted on the robot arm, the new system of wiring inside the ARC Mate allows the energy package to follow the movement of the robot.
In addition to new advanced design of the mechanical unit, the robot takes advantage of the intelligent technology of welding of Fanuc, the R-30iA controller, which controls up to 40 areas including up to 4 robots, software and Arc Tool, available in series in all welding robotsthat offers all the functions necessary for an efficient welding, including a plug and play configuration for most of the welding equipment and power sources.
The team also incorporates a wide range of additional software options for welding Torch Guard (Collision Guard, Arc Sensor (through Arc Seam Tracking), Touch Sensing and Parameter Ramping, among others), iRVision integrated automatic operations and Roboguide WeldPro and Dual Arm packagesto simulate and program all kinds of facilities of welding.
