Schneider Electric and the Institut Químic of Sarrià inaugurate his classroom of practical learning on automatic with application to energetic efficiency

Is foreseen that 50 students of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Technologies and 40 students of the Máster in Industrial Engineering receive learning annually in the Classroom Schneider Electric IQS. Schneider Electric, like global specialist in management of the power, participates with an initial endowment of industrial material, in concrete in the area of Automation and Industrial Control, for his utilisation like material of support in the learning that realizar the Department of Industrial Engineering of IQS of the Universitat Ramon Llull. The cooperation allows, besides, the practical learning of the students of IQS and the follow-up by part of the profesorado of the technological innovations in the areas in which Schneider Electric develops a notable paper to world-wide level.
The agreement also proposes the realisation of activities related with the Energetic Efficiency, the sectors of Electrical distribution, the Control and the Industrial Automation, the Domótica and the Inmótica. Like this then , will carry out activities like the learning of human resources, the provision of educational contents, the development of studies or forums of discussion, the provision of services of R&D, and the sponsorship of actions, between others. The agreement also will allow to the students interested of IQS realizar practices in Schneider Electric.
José-Emilio Serra, vice-president of Customer Satisfaction, Business Development & Quality of Schneider Electric for the Iberian Zone, stands out “the importance of the set up of the Classroom Schneider Electric IQS, that freamers in the aim of the company to promote the investigation and the learning of personnel on the last technical developments in the area of energetic efficiency”.
By his part, the doctor Pedro Regull, general director of IQS and vice-president of the Foundation Companies IQS, through which has promoted this agreement, congratula of “the set up of the classroom, that puts to the Institut Químic of Sarrià in a privileged situation regarding the technical learning in energetic efficiency, one of the key areas for world-wide development in the next years”.
