The Comunitat Valencian recovered 190.000 tonnes of material to recycle in 2010

Of these figures has spoken the consellera of Environment, Isabel Bonig, during the celebration recently of a workshop of recycling and art in the Centre of Environmental Education of the Comunitat: “The Valencians recover near of 190.000 tonnes of different materials, between glass, paper-cardboard and containers, to recycle them, during the past year”.

The consellera has stood out the campaigns of sensitisation organised by the autonomic government to contribute to these figures. Between other actions, have installed 47.000 containers in Valencian municipalities: 18.666 for the recovery of glass, near of 14.400 for paper-cardboard and more than 14.000 for light containers. Bonig Has put also of relief the collaboration with the integrated systems of management (SIG) Ecovidrio, Ecoembes or Ecolec, as well as with the Association of Masters of House Tyrius.
