It publishes the second edition of the White Book of the Poliuretano Projected

The Association of the industry of the polyurethane rigid (Ipur) presents the second edition of the White Book of the sprayed polyurethane, a documented Guide to benefits and solutions of rigid polyurethane foam designed for thermal, acoustic insulation and waterproofing, in accordance with the technical building code (CTE).

This document has been prepared by Atepa, the technical Association of the applied polyurethane and contains all the technical information available about this isolation, widely used in the buildings around the world, and its adaptation to the regulations in force at Spain, the CTE. In addition, it has sponsored by Ipur and PU europe.

The projected polyurethane is the insulating material most used in the Spanish buildings thermal performance, by both the advantages that has associated the projection technology: absence of thermal bridges, adaptability, imperviousness to water and vapor permeability, and quick and professional installation among others. With regard to the rehabilitation of buildings, it should be noted that the polyurethane is the most versatile insulating material which is known as it adapts to all types of surfaces. For this reason, the White Paper devotes an exclusive section for these applications, which collects the information published by Ipur and the Idae in 2008: the guide of rehabilitation with polyurethane products. In general terms, the improvement of an existing building insulation provides comfort and well-being for the user, as it better preserves the temperature inside. But also generate savings in the energy bill, and that a properly isolated building consumes less energy and reduces the emissions of CO₂. Any insulation saves 100 times more energy during your use of that consumed in the manufacturing and installation.
