Rotating mass cast for polymerization filtration system
December 3, 2009
For any material (for example: polyamide, nylon, polyester) it is manufactured on an industrial scale, the requirements of manufacturers of raw materials are always the same. Filtration system should have a short residency of the melt and must of course ensure that contaminants are removed quickly. It is also important that during the change of filters the material produced is not of specification. The filtration system must operate at constant pressure and with a high level of automation, as well as a secure and reliable way.
SFXmagnus and RSFgenius filtration systems, Gneuss managed to meet the expectations of the manufacturers of raw materials. Systems are used for production of up to 32 tons per hour.
Both systems are characterized by the well-known principle of rotating disk for which the disk is encapsulated between two blocs, this mode ensures that there is no contact between the material that is being manufactured and the environment.
A sealed door provides access to replace the filter elements. Killed in molten flow areas are avoided due to an aerodynamic design of the melt channel and the residence time is reduced to a minimum.
SFXmagnus and RSFgenius operate automatically depending on the time and pressure. The main advantage of Gneuss filtration systems is that, thanks to intelligent technology with which they were designed, not generated during filter changing or products out of specifications, variations of color, or any other alteration of the material.
