The plastic sector invests around 120 million euros in the last four years

The Valencian plastics sector accounts for 21% of the companies forming part of the industries of plastic Spanish and employs one fifth of their workers.
The Ministry of industry, trade and innovation through the Impiva, has supported since 2005 to the sector, close to 600 projects with a help of 29 million euros generated by an investment over 119 million euros.
The director of the Institute of small and medium industry Valencian has pointed out in his speech that "to date, requests to the sectoral plans of competitiveness are in evaluation phase and until the month of June may not notify the approved projects".
This year the budget of the sectoral plans of competitiveness has increased by 100 per cent (60 million euros) through the Plan of confidence of the Condell.
In the case of the plastic sector projects approved since 2005 within its sector Plan of competitiveness totalled 44 with a help 1.6 million euros that have generated more than two million euros of investment.
