Itene manages to increase their income by 28.4% in 2007

The technological Institute of packaging, transport and logistics (Itene), belonging to the network of technological institutes of the Valencian Generalitat (Redit), obtained revenues of 5,143 million euros in 2007, representing an increase of 28.4 percent from the previous year which reached the 4 million EURas reflected in the annual report of the technological centre.
Thanks to this increase, Itene invested in 2007 a total of 358.835 euros in the acquisition of technological equipment for the new facilities it holds today at the technology park located in Paterna. Last year they finished construction of the 7.150 square meters of surface.
Its opening has been an evolution in the technological capacities of the Centre thanks to new areas of research, development and innovation: laboratory of new materials, chemical, paper and cardboard, cellulose materials, design and prototyping, traceability, electronics and communications, simulation of the transport centre and a technological surveillance centre, among other many spaces.
