Brenntag Inaugurates a plant of services for the sector of the rubber in Italy

Brenntag, company stood out in the market of chemical distribution, has inaugurated some skilled installations in services for the sector of the rubber in the place of Orbassano (Turín), emplazamiento strategic ideal, given his vicinity to the industries of Italian automotive sector. In a context of international expansion of the business of the rubber, this new plant allows to Brenntag loan service to his customers no only in Europe, but to world-wide level. The surface, of 12.000 m², houses a warehouse, a laboratory, a building of offices and some innovative installations of mixes and packaging.

According to Karsten Beckmann, CEO of Brenntag for Europe, Middle East and Africa, “the new installations suppose a step more in our continuous eagerness to reinforce the strategy of specialitys of the company. We are satisfied to be able to to offer to our customers a wide range of services of value added through this new plant. The investment realizar shows once again the strong industrial orientation of Brenntag in the market of the rubber, linked to some very professional services, with the creation of a unit of business paneuropea for the sector of the rubber, in the first quarter of the year”.

The equipment of last technology allows to Brenntag control all the process of treatment of raw materials for the industry of the rubber: from the manipulation of additives of solid rubber and liquids until the chemical analysis in own laboratory and storage of some 4.000 pallets in different enclosures, depending on the conditions that require each material. One of the new services that offer is the called ‘bag-in-bag': different ingredients prepesan according to the requests of the customer and to continuation combine , planting the individual stock exchanges in a bigger.

The customer can process this ‘bag-in-bag' directly, without need to open it. The plastic bags disperse during the process of mixed, facilitating a more efficient production and safe. Another of the activities that has experienced a significant growth in terms of capacity is the production of ‘dry liquids', that is to say, liquid additives that they are absorbed by an inert bearer, facilitating the manipulation and doing it safer.
