PROSUMER.NET, the future of the European industry of goods of consumption

The Institute of Biomecánica and the Association CVIDA celebrated to finals of May a session titled ‘Project PROSUMER.NET: The Future of the European Industry of Goods of Consumption' in which they presented the results of the project PROSUMER.NET. Funded by the European Commission. The project has like aim create a common voice between the different European platforms of goods of consumption oriented by the design to define the strategic priorities in investigation and innovation that allow to tackle the challenges partner-economic futures to which will confront the sector.

The main results presented were the analysis of tendencies of the sector as well as a proposal of future stages to which will confront the sector in the period 2014-2020, defined through the conjoint work of expert groups distributed in different European countries. Finally, it has presented the leaf of route or ‘roadmap' technological that has elaborated for the implementation of the technological aims identified like prioritarios to give answer to the future challenges of the sector.

Likewise, gave to know the opportunities that offers the new Program Marco Horizon2020 to fund the activities of investigation and innovation of the companies of the sector of goods of consumption, doing special emphasis in the new instrument for SMEs. Horizon2020 englobará programs of support to European projects of R&D during the period 2014-2020 and supposes an excellent opportunity to be able to cofinanciar the development of innovative products that contribute to improve the competitiveness and the positioning of the companies.
