Do more with less: the Read help to the companies to optimise his resources in time of crisis
The manager of the Department of Read of Andaltec, Laura Carrero, explains that “do more with less” is the aim prioritario of all organisation in the actuality. However it does not treat of a drastic reduction of resources, as it is understood and executed by the majority of the companies. The “do more with less” can understand eat: do more with the same resources, or do the same but with fewer resources. In both the key of the success is to devote the resources to do only the important. Often they realise activities in the companies that the only that contribute is to keep to the busy resources and that do not suppose really a value for the customer. “The employers identify the movement in his plants of manufacture like productivity when in reality the only that generates is an unnecessary increase of the costs”, adds.
Read poses a methodology, a form to think that it allows to companies of very distinct nature, create value and avoid the loss, with minimum investments. Carrero Explains that the application of this methodology allows to reduce the costs improving the organisation, the order or the cleaning in the productive areas of the companies. “In industrial processes the purely productive time supposes less than 25% of the total time of manufacture, by what in the best of the cases have achieved improvements of 80% optimising the gestión of the existent resources: elimination of the destined time to researches, swung of places of work and therefore elimination of time of wait, re-definition of the distribution of plant by what descend the travel of the workers, decrease of intermediate stock, of defective, of waste… and consistently achieves an improvement in the labour climate and the motivation of the workers; that they are the active more important of any company”, signals.
Carrero Encourages to the Andalusian SMEs to implant the methodology Read in his processes. “Because of the situation of current crisis, find us in a moment ideal so that the companies llevar small changes that help them to look for the differentiation, the efficiency, the competitiveness, and all this without requiring big investments”, explains.
