Spain, fifth country of the world in the utilisation of robots of automotive sector

Until December of 2011, Spain had more than 31.700 robots in operation, of which more than 19.000 were being used in the bouquet of the automotive sector and more than 12.200 in other industrial states. According to the AER-ATP, Spain incorporated more than 3.000 robots in 2011, near of a thousand more than in 2010, what treats of a “big news in the current surroundings”, manifested Grau.
For the manager of the AER-ATP, these data put of self-evident that “the industry of the automotive sector is highly qualified”, standing out that the tendency in the use of robots is “upward”. In this sense, advanced that, in 2012, the number of robots in operation in our country will grow between 5% and 10% whereas, in the period 2013-2015, this growth will situate around 15%.
The greater presence of the robots in the sector of the automotive sector, in particular, and of all the industry manufacturera, in general, explains because “they contribute more flexibility, are faster and flexible, save power, diminish his weight and handle better in spaces more controlled”, said.
Regarding the novelties, the robots will present a greater interaction with the human being, will be more integrated cheese cheese with the already existent machines and his programming will be simpler. In this sense, Grau ensured that “in industrial robotics, the sector of the automotive sector is the best laboratory of essay and the true tractor of the innovation”.
