Catalan companies and the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic initiate the project of R&D Compofivi

The companies Iberpotash, Mapro, Tadipol and Polisilk, under the scientific steering of the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, initiate the project of I + D Compofivi (Compound manufactured by pultrusión of polymers reinforced with fibre of glass).
The meeting took place in the installations of Iberpotash and was led by Pablo of Ballasts, industrial director of the company. The Foundation CTM Centre Tecnològic, that forms part of Tecnio, network that improves the technological transfer and the business innovation in Catalonia, has presented the technical aims and the plan of work for the development of the project, that will have a length of 2 years and a total budget of 828 one thousand euros.
The aim of this project is to develop a structure realised from an innovative compound material that allow to substitute the current, and usual, metal structures of static and dynamic support, that are subjected to environingingments of work of high exigencias of operation in concepts of durability, maintenance and cost, by others with need of less maintenance with equality of resistance.
This project has the help of the Agency of Support to the Catalan Company (ACC1Or), entity ascribed to the Department of Company and Employment of the Government of Catalonia, and is cofinanciado with European Bottoms of Regional Development (Feder) of the European Union, in the frame of the Operative Program of Catalonia 2007-2013.
