Pallmann Shows his ambition with a plant of pneumatics Czech

The construction and put in operation of complete recycling plants of tyres has become a line of serious business for the manufacturer of machinery Pallmann. Without going more far, the company finishes to inaugurate one of these plants with technology tip in the Czech Republic.

The German group Pallmann, one of the greater developers of the world of innovative technologies of reduction of size, does not leave to happen the good opportunities of business. In March, Pallmann opened a plant of recycled of tyres totally new in the Czech Republic, near of Zatec, a small population to some 80 km northwest of the capital, Prague, and in a rural zone of population disperses.

The plant has been created jointly with the Czech company of recycled Hargo, that has invested 7,8 million euros in the project. In the first phase of operation, the factory will give work to some sixty people, but expects that in three years this figure rise to 120.

The main product of the plant will be the granulated of rubber to use like material semimanufacturado for surfaces amortiguadoras, like the losetas of hygiene for children's playgrounds and sportive installations. The steel and the textile materials extracted of the tyres recycled will sell for his back transformation. Although the recycled of tyres used is not new in the Czech Republic and there are several companies that devote to this, in the greater part of the cases the rubber finishes being fuel for cementeras.

Is not the first time that Pallmann works in Czech territory, since before it had installed machines desmenuzadoras and separadoras in other two recycling plants of tyres. “But it is the first time that build a plant of recycled of pneumatics whole and of whose daily course also will be responsible”, says Uwe Wicht, vice-president of the Division of Recycling.

Hardly does three years that the company focused his interest in offering complete solutions for the crumbled and reprocesado of tyres of vehicles. The first serious step in this steering gave in 2011 when Pallmann entered a new concept of transformation of tyres in collaboration with the Spanish signature GMN.

The recently inaugurated plant in the small industrial zone that there is beside Zatec bases largely in the same concept. “We have had a set up without problems —says Wicht—. Already I know that I am not the most indicated to say this with impartiality, but create sincerely that, in the field of the recycled of tyres, this plant is in these moments the most efficient and modern of the world”.

The factory has three sections of cleaning for the crumbled and the separation of the rubber, the wire of steel and the fibres. It can transform tyres of truck of until 1,2 m of diameter, tyres of tractor of until 1,8 m and tyres of car of until 0,75 m. The plant has capacity to process one million and half of tyres to the year, roughly 70% of them of trucks and 30% remaining, of trucks.

The Czech plant will recover pneumatics of all continental Europe, but especially of Italy, Germany and, logically, the Czech Republic.

Why build a plant in a rural zone with few infrastructures? “The installations find in a rural area reduced that has a big potential of growth in the near future —explains Wicht—. It will not take in having good infrastructures, because it is building a motorway that will facilitate a lot the transport of exit and of arrival to the plant”.

In two or three years, this motorway will constitute a fast road between Prague and the German city of Chemnitz. However, the customers of Pallmann of the industry of the recycled are not had to expect so much to see in person what can offer them this plant, that already is receiving visitors from everywhere of the world. “Like a group of representatives of a company of recycled Chinese that visited recently the installations”, comments Wicht.
