Tomra Sorting Will show in the K 2013 his applications for virgin plastics and recycled
Tomra Sorting Solutions, pioneering company in systems of classification based in sensors, will exhibit in the next fair K 2013, in Düsseldorf, his applications for classification of virgin plastics and recycled, and of rubber. In this big shop window that is the fair of plastic and rubber more important of the world will present the new generation Best Genius and the system Titech Autosort. The event will celebrate of the 16 to 23 October in the enclosure ferial of Düsseldorf and the equipment of classification of Tomra will be able to see in the stand F17, in the Hall 11.
Applications of classification for virgin plastic
The new generation of optical sorter Genius combines the most sophisticated mechanical, optical and electronic in a robust machine, that separates the valuable materials with a high capacity (until 10t/h) and resolution (100 micras). The product feeds by means of hopper, which downloads on a strip transportadora of high speed, where is scanned consecutively by the cameras of colour and by the laser, in addition to by the monochromatic cameras of high resolution, suspended so much in the top like inferior of the strip.
Applications of classification of plastics recycled
Christoph Bach, director of sales for the recycling in central Europe of Tomra Sorting, said: “The industry of the plastic every time is more conscious that the recycling of the plastics no only is good by the saving of raw materials, but it also is profitable. The classification automated and precise of the different plastics, including the PET of alimentary quality, is essential to reach the more standard heights of quality required by the industry”.
Titech Autosort (flake) Analyses with precision the flakes of plastic and classifies them by detection of material. The sophisticated technology of sensors also allows the simultaneous detection of some determinate colours. Combining a tested mechanical design with an advanced system of double sensor, the system improves the efficiency of separation of the flake of plastic significantly. A spectrometer centred in the rank of the visible spectrum (VIS) detects contaminantes of colour, while a sensor of infrared near (NIR) identifies materials like PET, PEAD, PP, PVC, PS and PLA. These characteristics, combined with a fine row of valves and a reduced distance from the zone of measurement to the one of blown, guarantee a precise classification.
Applications for classification of rubbers
Tomra Sorting Also will present his solutions for the classification on line for synthetic rubber and for pellets of plastic. The defects of the synthetic rubber identified by the system, as they can be geles, humid zones or decoloradas, are separated with big precision, guaranteeing his perfect elimination with a minimum loss of product. Tomra Sorting Develops a powerful combination of methods of detection, that include scanners of laser, cameras and spectrometry, what allows to the users select multiple parameters of classification.
